Community Hosted Events are independent fundraising and awareness events put on by members of the community, who are not affiliated with the CTBTA, but who desire and represent that their event will benefit the CTBTA. We are grateful for their important contributions to the cause!
Hoops for Hannah is a fun and easy way to honor the memory of Hannah Taylor, a lifelong UCONN basketball fan, who lost her courageous battle with brain cancer at 32. This annual fundraiser combines her love of the NCAA tournament with her desire to combat this disease.
Hoops for Hannah is free to participate and gives players the option to donate. This year, donations will be split equally between the Connecticut Brain Tumor Alliance, The Musella Foundation for Brain Tumor Research & Information, and Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure (ABC2).
To participate, click on HOOPS FOR HANNAH to create a bracket on CBS Sports' website. Create or use your current CBS user login to view your bracket and make your selections. Hannah's family is providing a prize for the winner of the Hoops for Hannah contest!
Deadline to register is Thursday morning, March 15th.
