4th Annual Wines of March -- A Party to Benefit the CTBTA

|| March 11, 2016

CTBTA Board President Maria Grove annually remembers her mother Katy Wichlac's birthday, March 15th, with a party in her mother's memory to benefit the Connecticut Brain Tumor Alliance, Inc.  Katy passed away from a glioblastoma brain tumor in 2012, but she led a rich, full life beforehand and always threw a great party.  Following in her mother's footsteps, Maria created the Wines of March, now in its fourth year, always with a fun, creative wink to the "Ides of March" and the goal of "throwing a party my mother would have wanted to attend!"

Over the years, the Wines of March has raised thousands for brain tumor patients, caregivers, and families and has brought awareness to the cause as Maria's signature event for the CTBTA. This year, she put together quite a treat -- with a special night of wine tasting from Cassidy Hill Vineyard, beer tasting from Shebeen Brewery, spirits tasting and a signature drink for the night by Hartford Flavor, a live auction, a fun photo booth, and live Irish rock band, The Rude Mechanicals, to help celebrate St. Patrick's Day a little early.

Join us in the "Wearing of the Green" to bring the "Luck of the Irish" to the fight against Brain Tumors!
