Susan Shimkus Lemkuil and David Lemkuil, Directors on the CTBTA's Board, created the comedy night, "Laughter on the Brain," with the help of Lena Sidoti and Feliks Viner from our Presenting Sponsor, First World Mortgage, as a fun fundraising and brain tumor awareness opportunity for the CTBTA. The event soon became a fan favorite.
This year's Laughter event will be held on May 26, 2015, once again celebrating laughter as "the best medicine" and is going to be at the famous Infinity Hall in downtown Hartford!
Patients, caregivers, supporters, and community members will come together to share many laughs at Infinity Hall all while raising funds to support brain tumor patients and their families.
Featuring a world-class comedy show, drinks and appetizers inside the newly constructed and already famous Infinity Hall on Front Street in Hartford, Connecticut, this will be our best show ever. Make sure that you are part of our mailing list so we can email you the details as we get closer to curtain time!
Last year our 3rd Annual "Laughter on the Brain" was one of our most successful events to date, raising $20,000 for brain tumor research and patient assistance, and bringing participation among brain tumor patients and caregivers to a record level for any CTBTA event. We hope to smash that record this year!
